摘要
The proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is one of the most promising devices to utilize hydrogen as an energy source for the generation of electricity. Benzoxazine-based materials have exhibited great potential and suitability for uses in the components of PEMFCs, including proton exchange membranes (PEMs) and bipolar plates. First, benzoxazine compounds are used as cross-linking agents to enhance the stability, strength, and the resistance to fuel permeation of PEMs. In addition, polybenzoxazine-based polyelectrolytes are prepared as raw materials for PEMs. Moreover, polybenzoxazine shows attractive potential toward improving many of the properties of bipolar plates. Developments in this area will be significantly advanced with the progress of benzoxazine-based chemistry and materials.
