Global citizenship education plays a major role in dealing with prevailing challenges, such as social injustice, sustainable environment, the gap between the poor and the rich, and cooperation among industry and global partnership for finance and development. The local and global society will be integrated into the global system with a positive influence and benefits toward an equal and fair future. Global citizenship makes a major contribution by advancing and improving citizen competence to encounter changes and risks. This chapter portrays the complex and debates of global problems and points out the goals for sustainable development for our planet.
