摘要
Ordered mesoporous silica has now been known for something over ten years, and tremendous progress has been made to produce various structures. However, even more diverse than the structures are the framework compositions which have been synthesized. In the context of this volume, framework compositions with organic groups either attached to the surface or fully incorporated into the framework are the most relevant ones. In this contribution, the state of the art of this class of materials will be reviewed, including recent developments from the group of the authors. © 2005 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
