We report a tunable pulsed optical parametric oscillator using a 2D PPLN as simultaneous an electro-optic Bragg Q-switch and a parametric generator in a Nd:YVO <sub>4</sub> laser. >650-W peak-power eye-safe light was obtained with this system. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
