摘要
Speckle artifacts and system bulkiness limit the potential of sub-terahertz (sub-THz) imaging in non-destructive and non-invasive analysis. Here, we introduce an economical 3D printed hybrid diffuser-lens component designed to overcome these limitations. By integrating the functionalities of diffusers and lenses, our approach markedly reduces speckle artifacts, improves imaging quality, and minimizes the overall system size. The resulting improvements in spatial resolution and the compactness of our design significantly improve the capabilities of real-time sub-THz imaging.
