Abstract
While combining discrete wavelet multiton (DWMT) with code division multiple access (CDMA) systems, both narrow-band interference (NBI) and multiple-Access interference (MAI) arise when data is transmitted over NBI channels. In this paper, we address interference suppression and processing gain protection for multiuser detection with less noise enhancement by using a parallel canceling scheme. In order to avoid performance deterioration due to unreliable initial estimation in the parallel cancellation scheme, a cost function with proper weighting of design criterion is introduced to improve the performance of the proposed detector.
