Abstract
This symposium focuses on the development of advanced- and integrated- Product Data Management (PDM) systems and concepts, which support product life cycle activities for global manufacturing and enterprise environment. The collection of research papers discuss key technical issues such as: Applications of international product data standards Engineering database design PDM system development Information technology for CIM Our goal is to provide a forum to discuss, present, and exchange the advanced PDM research results. This symposium sponsors two technical sessions, a panel discussion, and a technical poster session.
