A 75-μm single layer quantum dot (QD) blue micro-LED-based high-speed two-user QAM-NOMA VLC system has been demonstrated over 2-m free-space. The modulation bandwidth is up to 1.04 GHz and ensures a sum rate of 2.198-Gbps.
