Abstract
This study investigates the channel conditions of a robust terahertz communication system that employs radio over fiber at 150 GHz. The received signals with a bandwidth of up to 3 GBaud and a wireless distance of 3 meters are analyzed under different experimental conditions. The system is tested in various scenarios, with a specific focus on line-of-sight transmission, misalignment experiments, and penetration experiments that simulate actual communication environments. The signal-to-noise ratio and bit-error rate of the received signals are evaluated to analyze the performance of the terahertz wireless communication system. A path loss model of blockage with metal is proposed in this study. The results of this study have significant implications for the advancement and enhancement of the broadband terahertz wireless communication system. Additionally, the study provides a framework for estimating the terahertz communication model.
