Abstract

STEM Education;Virtual Reality;elementary school

Virtual reality (VR) technology is increasingly being integrated into STEM education to enhance learning experiences for elementary school students. This comparative study investigates the relationship between VR technology and STEM education, exploring its impact on student motivation, engagement, and understanding of STEM concepts. Data was collected from 86 elementary school students using a questionnaire designed to assess perceptions of VR integration in STEM education. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were employed to analyze the data. Findings reveal a positive association between VR integration and student outcomes, with VR technology demonstrating potential to improve motivation, engagement, and comprehension of STEM concepts. Additionally, demographic factors such as age and gender were examined for correlations with student perceptions. The study provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to leverage VR technology to enrich STEM learning experiences for elementary school students.
