Abstract
We apply the adaptive-order global Lanczos (AOGL) to generate the MIMO macromodel of high-speed VLSI interconnects. Theoretical foundations of the AOGL method for multiple point moment matching will be investigated. In addition, the order selection scheme of the reduced system will also be discussed. Experimental results on practical large-scale interconnect designs demonstrate that the reduced system generated by the AOGL method has better coherence to the original system both in time domain and in frequency domain.
