Abstract

A cascadability study is performed, using a re-circulating loop, of a 50-GHz-spaced dispersion-compensated interleaver pair. After five cascaded nodes, a 2.5-dB sensitivity differential is observed with ± 0.07-nm wavelength detuning for with/without dispersion compensation pair. © 2005 Optical Society of America.
