Abstract
The fabrication of cell-actuated microsystem was performed using cultural cardiomyocytes and cellular imprinting method. A cell culture surfaces grafted with temperature-responsive polymer and poly(Nisopropylacrylamide) (PIPAAm) was applied to release cells and to transfer to 3D microstructures. A thin silion membrane and a hydrogel as their substrate was used to control its stiffness and surface chemistry. The results show that the micro cellular imprinting method have enormous potential for developing vitro 3-D cell actuated micro devices and bio-hybrid devices.
