Abstract
The study of Perovskite - type LaCoO 3 oxides used to the Solid oxide fuel cell catalyst broadly observed due to their cheap and simple technology. In this we report the Perovskite-type lanthanum cobaltite oxide (LaCoO 3 ) catalyst obtained by the polymerizable complex method based on the Pechin i-type reaction route and calcined at 650°C and 900°C. The crystal structure of lanthanum cobaltite oxide (LaCoO 3 ) was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Xray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The findings are discussed with respect to the average particle size - 52 nm, lattice parameters a = b = 5.40643Å, c = 13.31220Å, α=β=90°, γ= 120° and space group R-3c. By the simulated results of XRD and XAS, we were defined the interatomic distances of the Co-O, Co-La, Co-Co and C-O-Co. © 2011 IEEE.
