Abstract
Interleaved critical-mode boost power factor correctors (IPFC) were proposed recently which can achieve high power factor and high efficiency, and it can further achieve high power capacity for interleaved operation and low electromagnetic interference (EMI) for its low current ripple [1]-[2]. In this paper, current ripples of a two-phase and a four-phase IPFCs are analyzed first. Then, simulated and experimental results of the IPFCs are presented to verify the mentioned merits and,,derivations of the IPFC.
