Abstract
Degenerate four-wave mixing mediated by ponderomotive-force-driven plasma gratings is demonstrated in the near-infrared regime, which may be used to compensate for wavefront distortion occurring in various laser-plasma-based devices. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
