We developed a sensitive and small detection system which can measure both fluorescence and thermal lens signals at the same time. In the detection system, the object lens has three functions (irradiation lens and condenser lens for fluorescence measurement and object lens for thermal lens measurement). As a result, it became very easy to change the measurement position on the chip. The detection system here had good performance. The limit of determination was 4.7x10 mol/L and 4.4x10 mol/L respectively. Copyright © 2005 by the Transducer Research Foundation, Inc.
