Abstract

Engineering (all)
Based on the well-developed biosensors in our lab, we have developed a technology to achieve long term storage goals. In this study, we used reagents to dry the antibodies that were immobilized on the sensor chip. After drying, the trend of the calibration curve obtained by the electrical measurement is similar to the one before drying. This means that the drying process effectively maintains the activity of the antibody, and the antibody still has the ability to capture the target protein after drying. This cost-effective and readily available process can lengthen the shelf life of the sensor and reduce transportation costs.
