Abstract

Air-liquid two-phase flow Enrichment Single cell analysis Bioengineering
We here report on the development of a volume interface which can change a single cell's secretion volume (pL) to fL controlling the volume decrease ratio. Utilizing the air-dry by realizing the air-liquid two-phase flow, sample volume can decrease without analyte loss or denaturation. This method for the first time enables all components of secretion to be directly introduced to the analysis device, for example, the extended-nano chromatography. Therefore, it is useful to an exhaustive analysis of single cell and contributes to single cell analysis.
