Abstract

Acoustic micromixer Cell patterning Drug screening Gradient Pyogenic hepatic abscess model
We report an integrated platform which integrates a lobule mimetic liver chip to study the pyogenic hepatic abscess model with a gradient generator for monitoring the IL-8 response. Taking a step forward towards providing targeted medicine, this platform is capable of screening the efficacy of antioxidants. The drug screening platform integrates a continuous concentration gradient generator combined with acoustic mixer and an in vitro lobule mimetic liver model. The gradient generator allows simultaneous administration of drug dose at different concentration to the infected hepatoma cells which helps us to monitor the in vitro dose-dependent TMTU response.
