Abstract
Absorbers not only enhance efficiency of current sustainable energy technologies but also can be an additional sustainable energy source. In this paper, the features of several energy absorbers are compared, including absorptance spectrum, Q-factor, power loss density distribution and radiation pattern. With sufficient knowledge of energy absorbers, we can continue to the development of unique sustainable energy source. According to this work, a spiral design has wide absorption bandwidth and unique energy dissipation pattern. Traditional energy absorber can hardly realize both functions. More optimization and structural design can be expected based on the work of this paper.
