Droplet Gas/Liquid Interface Mixing Nanofluidics Chemical Engineering (miscellaneous) Bioengineering Chemistry (all) Control and Systems Engineering
We developed a nanofluidic reactor that can generate, fuse, and mix two size-controlled fL droplets using a gas/liquid interface. Volume of generated droplets were 840 fL and 830 fL, accurately controlled by portioning gas/liquid interface with nanometer-sized chamber. Using them, fusion and mixing of two droplets were achieved. This method will contribute to basic technology for droplet handling and nanometer-sized reactor.
