The sparse communication network will expose the microgrid with higher risk under malicious cyber attacks. Intrusion detection of malicious cyber attacks becomes a critical issue in operations of MGs. In our previous work, analytical consistency validation techniques have been explored for detecting link attacks and node attacks by exploring localized dual variables of the partial primal-dual consensus-based distributed droop control, In this paper, the previous work will be extended to generalized deception attacks in which both link attacks and node attacks occur simultaneously. Enhancements of the defense mechanism in attack localization, isolation, and resilience are investigated in details. Numerical experiments on the real-time simulator OPAL-RT are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed detection mechanism.
