Abstract
The THz radiation was generated from exciton in strained-multiple-quantum wells under magnetic field. The sample was placed in the center of the I-T permanent magnetic field and pumped by 100-mW average power with 90 fs pulses. Transmitted THz radiation was guided to a liquid-helium-cooled Si bolometer for detecting the radiation power. A clear resonance behavior at the photoluminescence (PL) peak was observed due to exciton absorption and a blue shifted spectrum was obtained.
