Abstract
Intense Supercontinuum;Fused Silica
An octave-spanning femtosecond supercontinuum is generated by highly nonlinear interaction in multiple plates of fused silica. Spectral interferometry of the multi-µJ continuum reveals excellent spectral and spatial coherence of the pulse.
