Abstract
Interactivity is an important factor in web-based instruction. However, there is insufficient design information or references for system designers. Most studies in WBI explore the issue of interactivity from the point of view of instructors or experts; however, few studies explore WBI learners’ perceptions of interactivity. The purpose of this study is to understand the WBI system users’ viewpoint regarding interactivity attributes, as well as the design of interactive functions, through in-depth interviews and questionnaires. Study results will provide implications to educators and practitioners for designing interactive elements and functions in WBI.
