Abstract

Linear Polarization;BIMA
It has been increasingly clear that star formation cannot be understood without magnetic fields. However, the magnetic field is the most poorly measured quantity in the star formation process. Now, with two sets of polarizers optimized for 90 GHz and 230 GHz, BIMA has begun to provide measurements of magnetic field directions with high resolution.
