Understanding of liquid properties in extended nanospaces (10-1,000 nm) is necessary for engineering of nanofluidic devices. We clarified that hydration behavior in extended nanospaces changed drastically depending on the kinds of trivalent lanthanoids using NMR measurements and streaming current measurements for the first time. The results are useful for development of novel nanofluidic separation devices.
