Abstract
This study reports the rapid selection of identified live CTCs from whole blood on SACA chip by automatic imaging system and in-situ cell capturing process. It takes about 50 minutes to examine 2 ml whole blood sample. The image resolution of a cell (10 Pm in diameter) can reach about 730 pixels/cell in the photograph, high enough for computers to analyzing fluorescence information automatically. The identified live CTCs can be accurately captured individually by using home-made micro-cell-capture system. All cells are remained highly viable after the entire process.
