Abstract

We have designed and fabricated a mid-infrared hyperbolic metamaterial composed of alternating A1 2 O 3 and chemical-vapor-deposited graphene. Infrared ellipsometry shows a topological transition from elliptical to hyperbolic dispersion at the wavelength of 7.4 μτη.
