Abstract
The modification of interlayer coupling by inserting thin Al layer in Fe/Si multilayers was discussed. The temperature dependence of interlayer coupling and magnetoresistance of these multilayers was studied. It was found that the strength of biquardatic coupling could be correlated to the discrepancy of the saturation field between M-H loops and MR loops.
