Abstract
This paper presents precise synthesis of molecularly-imprinted polymer beads by emulsion droplet microfluidics for on-chip solid phase extraction columns. The microfluidic chips are fabricated and tested for droplet production. Molecularly imprinted polymer microparticles are made by the microfluidic chip and then compared with the molecularly-imprinted polymer by traditional process. Lasalocid antibiotic drug, which is used in animal, is a template molecule for synthesis of MIP particles. The results show a high adsorption of the drug at 2.4851 nmole with 10 mg MIP beads, which is produced and polymerized by emulsion droplets.
