Abstract

Multiresolution Watermarking;Video
Digital watermarking has gained increasing attention recently as useful means to authenticate the copyright. For video sequences, with large amount of data volume and inherent redundancy between contiguous frames, they are highly susceptible to pirate attacks. In this paper, we proposed a multiresolution video watermarking technique based on the spatio-temporal decomposition of the video sequences. By virtue of temporal decomposition, the motionless components of the video sequence can be obtained. In turn, by spatial decomposition, the multiresolution structure of the motionless components will be established and then can be embedded with digital watermarks. During the extracting steps, the watermark can be extracted from a single frame without knowing the location of that frame, and experimental results are presented to claim the robustness and correctness of the proposed technique.
