This paper introduces a nano-CEEC chip incorporating nano-electrodes with sequential applied electric fields to pre- concentrate scarce neurotransmitters released from PC-12 cells for continuous detection. This device provides a novel platform for single cell-cell interaction studies and a bioelectronic interface for fundamental understanding of single-cell interactions.
