Abstract
High-efficiency pure-white organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated using polysilicic acid nano-dot embedded polymeric hole-transporting layer (HTL). By incorporating nano-dots into the HTL, a mixed-host composed fluorescent white OLED showed a high efficiency of 17.1 Im/W. While the same concept applied on a solution-processed phosphorescent white OLED, the efficiency had increased from 6.8 to 23.7 Im/W, an improvement of 250%.
