Abstract
This paper proposes the a fully integrated microfluidic chip for sperm sorting and oocyte incubation with upstream flowing sperm sorting and oocyte incubation for high penetration rate sperm screening On chip Sperm Penetration Assay (SPA) is a simple test to check the ability of sperm to penetrate an egg. Experimental results show that this chip not only provides an easier and faster procedure to sort out motile sperm and better preserves the viability of zona-free oocytes, but also enhance penetration rate over 57% are calculated with the percentage of surface penetrated egg.
