Abstract

Phase separation Segmented flow Surface modification Chemical Engineering (miscellaneous) Bioengineering
In this paper, we report a new two-phase separation method for organic-aqueous mixed and segmented mixed phase flows utilizing a capillarity restricted modification method [1] and backpressure control. Successful separations were obtained for 11 organic solvents and maximum flow rates for complete separation were investigated. Copyright © 2005 by the Transducer Research Foundation, Inc.
