Abstract
Van der Waals heterostructures of monolayer crystals are promising platforms for novel electronic, photonic and spintronic devices [1] - [2]. Fine control of the stacking rotation angle, i.e. the twist angle θ, allows to tailor their electronic and optical properties. In twisted bilayer graphene (tBLG), interlayer coupling leads to a complex subband electronic structure and van Hove singularities (vHs) with θ-dependent energy position [3].
