Abstract
A coherent continuum is generated by Raman-assisted four-wave mixing in singlecrystal diamond of an 8 fs laser pulse. The bandwidth of the spectrum will support the synthesis of an isolated single-cycle femtosecond pulse. © OSA 2013.
