Abstract

Electric Double Layer Liquid Property Nanofluidics Streaming Current Chemical Engineering (miscellaneous) Bioengineering Chemistry (all) Control and Systems Engineering
We successfully measured streaming current in 50 nm channel (the world smallest glass nanochannel). The measured current signal was well fitted to the value which numerically simulated using higher viscosity, lower dielectric constant and lower silanol disassociation constant with considering unique properties in nanospaces. In this time, proton concentration was calculated as mM order, and the finding will provide important information for device engineering in sub-100 nm spaces.
