Abstract
Thin-layered ELISA is a one of the surface-based immunosensors, where an antibody layer is immobilized directly on the channel surface. Channel has micrometer scale depth and millimeter-scale width and length, providing surface-to-volume ratio about 0.2 - 0.5 μm -1 . Here we study how the channel depth and flow velocity (governed by external pressure) influence on the diffusion, convection and reaction to control binding kinetics and attain 100% capture efficiency of C-reactive protein molecules by our sensor.
