Abstract

Chromatography Nanofluidics Photothermal Control and Systems Engineering
Reversed-phase chromatography and UV absorbance detection system was miniaturized to femtoliter scale. Three nonlabeled nucleic acids were separated in an open tubular nanofluidic channel modified with C18 and detected by photothermal detection. The volume of the injected sample was only ∼500 fL and the mole number of detected molecule was ∼500 amol.
