Abstract

We present a terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) 3D imaging algorithm, which offers superior image quality compared with conventional computed tomography (CT) method. This algorithm utilizes both amplitude and time information of terahertz pulses to enhance image spatial resolution. Moreover, the image quality of the proposed algorithm outperformed CT with only one-third numbers of projections.
