Abstract

Energy Engineering and Power Technology Electrical and Electronic Engineering
We presents the design of a novel and highly sensitive resonator-type gas sensor. Key novelty in the design is the implantation of cellulose nanoporous foam on a meta structure to further improve its sensitivity. The sensor is based on resonance shift and THz attenuation due to the absorption of gas in the cellulose matrix. Utilizing rapid freeze drying, the high porosity of cellulose foam can be fabricated with nanoporse.
