Abstract
Physical chemistry in ultra-small space is important in many fields of engineering and liquid properties are found to be changed in extended-nano (10 -10 nm) space. Among liquid properties, thermophysical properties are essential to understand chemical and physical phenomena in these ultra-small spaces, although they have not been determined. Here, we developed photothermal technique for determination of thermal diffusivity in extended-nano space. In this report, we applied our technique to extended-nano space and succeeded to measure thermal diffusivity in 500 nm deep nanochannnel.
