Abstract

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

We report a watt-level, single-frequency, mid-infrared, continuous-wave singly resonant OPO with a thermal-induced waveguide in its gain crystal. The waveguide, with a NA of 0.0062, doubled the parametric efficiency and made the OPO insensitive to alignment. © 2011 IEEE.
