Abstract

ELISA Extended-nano space Immunoassay Microfluidics Control and Systems Engineering
We propose the novel concept of thin-liquid layer ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorvent assay) based on our original methods of beads-based μELISA [1] and extended-nano ELISA 2] (102-103 nm). By thinning the micro channel to single μm and integrating the ELISA into the formed thin layer, thin-liquid layer ELISA without beads enabled the comparable limit of detection as beads-based μELISA. Here, the device was designed and the working principle was verified. This work contributes as a novel platform for sensitive and practical immunoassay.
