Abstract
This thesis presents design and implementation of a low power multi-output AC/DC power converter with output power of 2.36 W, adopting from a resonant converter with high conversion efficiency and high power density. The converter topology is an asymmetrical half-bridge type. First, the half-bridge topology, resonant tank and output filter are analyzed and designed. Then, four types of converters with different drivers and switches are implemented. Finally, the conversion efficiency, noise, regulation, cost and size of the converters are compared, in which the highest one with conversion efficiency between 70~80 % and noise level below the limit line of EN55022, achieving low cost and small size.
