摘要
Understanding biologically relevant materials from a mechanical perspective spans a wide range of disciplines including cellular mechanics and soft materials. Distinct techniques are utilized that allow researchers to probe questions related to nanometer-scale mechanics and surface morphology of these biomaterials. Here, we present a study examining a soft material that is widely used with cell studies through implementing a scanning force microscope. The results of this research have a variety of implications including in tissue engineering and mechanotransduction.
