Abstract
In this thesis, we propose a high-efficiency and full spectrum white organic electroluminescent device structure. According to employing material, the devices can be divided two system. One is a fluorescent white organic electroluminescent device, the other is phosphorescent white organic electroluminescent device. The fluorescent white device structure includes {Indium-Tin oxide glass substrate / CuPc / NPB / DPVBi doped with DCM2 / Alq3 doped with coumarin 6 / Alq3 / LiF / Al }. A white emission [Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage 1931 chromaticity coordinate (X=0.30, Y=0.36)] exhibit full spectrum emission wavelength covering the three RGB peaks. The device turns on at 2.5 voltage. Its luminance is 8800 cd/m2 at 9 V, and the maximum efficiency is 5 lm/w. The phosphorescent white device structure includes {Indium-Tin oxide glass substrate / NPB / DSA doped DPVBi / Ir(ppy)3 and DCM2 co-doped CBP / BCP / Li doped Alq3 / Al }. The device (X = 0.35, Y = 0.43) exhibits full spectrum emission wavelength covering the three RGB peaks, and has a maximum efficiency of 12 lm/w at 60 cd/m2 at current density of 3.8 ´ 10-1 mA/cm2. The device turns on at 2.5 V, and its luminance reaches 10500 cd/m2 at 9 V.
